Repatriation Insurance for Track Days – Motorcycle Voyager

What is Repatriation Insurance for Track Days?

The more daring of motorcycle travellers may spend some time during their trip getting the most out of their motorbikes on the track. Whilst this is a thrilling activity for bikers, it does not come without risk. Repatriation insurance for track days is an optional extra on our motorcycle Voyager Travel Insurance policy that is there to cover the cost of getting you back to the UK, if medically necessary, if you suffer illness or injury as a result on an accident on your track day that affects your return travel plans.

Cover for track days can be added to you Motorcycle Voyager Travel Insurance policy by selecting the track day option or adding activity pack 4 to your policy when getting a quote and paying the appropriate additional premium.

 
 
 

What is covered on Activity Pack 4 other than track days?

Activity pack 4 covers several sports and hazardous activities that you may wish to participate in during your holiday and are not limited to motorcycle related activities. Activities pack 4 includes the following sports and hazardous activities:

Blowcarting/Land Yachting/Kite Buggy, Boxing Training (Head Guard must be worn), Cycle Touring/Leisure Biking (up to 3,000m), Devil Karting, Dirt Boarding, Fell Running (up to 3,000m), Gorge Walking (no ropes), High Diving – indoor/outdoor swimming pools only, Jousting, Kite-Boarding/Surfing, Motorised Buggying, Mountain Biking (up to 3,000m), Paragliding, Paramotoring, Parascending (over land), Roller Skating (24 hour relay), Ski Biking, Ski Blading /Snow Blading, Skiing – Snowcat, Snow Karting, Snow Surfing, Track Day or Event-Motorcycles (Non-UK), Track Day or Event-Motorcycles (UK), Trekking/Mountain Walking/Hiking/Rambling/Mountaineering- in group (up to 3,000m) Wake Boarding, Water Skiing (Jumping).

Motorcycle Voyager Travel Insurance is sold on the understanding that you and anyone travelling with you and named on the insurance validation documentation meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Have not started the trip.
  • Take all possible care to safeguard against accident, injury, loss or damage as if you had no insurance cover.
  • Being a resident of the United Kingdom, Channel Islands or British Forces Posted Overseas.
  • Are not travelling within your home country for less than 3 days on any one trip.
  • Are not travelling specifically to receive medical treatment during your trip or in the knowledge that you are likely to need treatment.
  • Are not travelling for more than 31 days on any one trip when purchasing an annual multi-trip policy.
  • Being aged 65 years or under on your Annual Multi Trip travel insurance at the start date of the policy.
  • are not travelling independently of the named insured adults on the policy where they are aged 18 years and under.
  • Are travelling with the intention to return to the United Kingdom, Channel Islands or BFPO within your trip dates unless an extension has been agreed with us and we have confirmed in writing.
